David Adeane

David Adeane (London, England.) He began his career directing school children in productions of Dracula and Snow White in a Tibetan refugee camp in Nepal. It went down particularly well with the monks! He did a Masters in Acting and Directing at the London Academy of Performing Arts before studying at the L’École Philippe Gaulier. With friends from drama school, he set up Drayson Theatre in London focusing on comedy before setting up Double Take Theatre which brings English-spoken plays to the Barcelona theatre community. He is presently working with Ukrainian actors, devising a play exploring mental health and war, to be performed in Kiev and directing Me and My Friend by Gillian Plowman, which performs in April 2024, in memory of Albert Ward.
