Mohammadali Nasiripour

Mohammadali Nasiripour (Iran). A theatre director, assistant director and theatre-maker based in Barcelona. His work is grounded in collaboration, dramaturgical curiosity and a deep commitment to the rehearsal room as a space for play, trust and discovery.

With a background that includes directing, writing and acting, as well as cultural management, Ali approaches theatre as a living process rather than a fixed result. He is drawn to contemporary texts, intimate narratives and creative structures that invite actors to think, listen and remain fully present. For him, rehearsal is a shared laboratory — a place where questions matter as much as answers.

Ali values clarity, care and dialogue within creative teams, and is particularly interested in building safe environments that allow bold artistic choices to emerge organically. He believes theatre has the power to slow us down, sharpen our attention, and remind us of what is fragile, unfinished and deeply human.

He is currently collaborating with Blue Book Theatre Company as Assistant Director on Constellations by Nick Payne, and is excited to contribute to the company’s evolving artistic language and shared sense of play.
