Kaitlin Kemp

Director and Drama Educator

Kaitlin Kemp is a director and drama educator, a graduate of Queen’s University in Canada. In addition to teaching and directing, she collaborates with theatre makers across Europe to devise original work. She also trained with Frantic Assembly in London in 2022. 

Recent directing credits include Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest (2026) and Gurney’s The Dining Room (2024) along with a numerous large scale youth musicals with Spotlight Productions.

Her work reimagines classic and established plays through bold, contemporary staging, making familiar texts feel newly discovered. She is driven by a belief in collective creation, where ideas are developed in the rehearsal room and storytelling emerges through shared exploration. Across her work, she aims to honour text while creating theatre that invites deeper discovery of self, others, and the world in which we live.
