Ani di Motion
Ani di Motion (Poland.) Actor, movement artist, and professional ballroom dancer working across theatre and film in Europe, the United States, and India. She trained at the William Esper Studio in New York, where she developed a psychologically grounded, Meisner-based, action-driven approach to performance. Her screen work includes acclaimed short films showcased at New York film festivals and the Sundance Film Festival, as well as the feature film Criers.
In theatre, Ani has worked with Chain Theatre in New York, The Producers’ Club, and Lincoln Center, and has performed extensively in musical theatre, playing leading roles in Dirty Dancing and Flashdance—productions that allowed her to unite acting and dance as one expressive language. With professional experience both on stage and in front of the camera, and after travelling and performing around the world, Ani has recently relocated to Barcelona, where Constellations marks her debut on stage in the city.
Drawn to stories that bend time, challenge perception, and invite audiences into a deeper experience of being human, Ani often says she chose acting because “one lifetime is not enough.” Through her work, she seeks to explore the complexities of the human psyche and create spaces where audiences are invited to feel—more deeply, honestly, and fully.
