She has played roles in indie films, commercials, and even a Bollywood movie. Alina started her love affair in acting when she checked off drama as an elective in grade eight and hasn’t been able to give it up since. At sixteen, she toured the Lower Mainland in British Columbia as a lead in a co-written play with the Vancouver Youth Theatre.

She continued her acting education by attending The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City.
