Bruin Chan
Bruin trained extensively in the Chubbuck technique, studying for three years under acting coach Elsena Shehaj, where he developed a strong foundation in performance and character work.
Alongside his acting career, Bruin is an accomplished writer, with a focus on comedy. He frequently collaborates with his brother and writing partner, Louis Chan. Together, they were selected for the BBC Comedy Writers Room x BESEA Writers programme in 2020 and have created content for BBC Three Online.
During lockdown, Bruin and Louis developed TAKIN Ls, a slate of short comedy projects that includes the award-winning Roadman Au Pair, Sticks of Fury, and the upcoming What Would Mother Say, featuring Aoife Hinds and Kaja Chan.
Bruin is currently developing Roadman Au Pair into a sitcom with Monumental. He is also in pre-production for his directorial debut, the short film CASA LALA, in which he will both direct and star.[/lab_heading]
